Does anyone have personal knowledge of or information about the Villages of Seloy in St. Augustine? I have gotten all the routine information from the website, but, am having a difficult time finding much of anything on the international investment group "Uniflorida" and the project site manager, Kelly Moore. The 55+ community sounds promising, but, even the realtors are unable to answer my questions openly. Any information would be greatly appreciated

My in-laws were interested in Seloy and took two trips to visit it. While they liked the homes and the amenities, they were concerned about the developer. Apparently, the original developer had to bail because it could not sell the houses and without being able to sell them, it couldn't build the neighborhood out. My in-laws were concerned when they were visiting Seloy last October that the new developer was having the same problem.

The other concern my in-laws had with Seloy was its location. In addition to the undeveloped land around the area, it seemed like the area had mishmash zoning. There was a storage park, a trailer park, empty land, and churches, which left the area feeling undeveloped and unorganized, night like a real part of the city of St. Augustine.

Seloy might have changed since October--you might ask how many of the homes have sold and how many they intend to build. But what my in-laws saw, did not leave them wanting to buy.

I hope that helps.

Good Luck!

I worked there as a part time sales person for a year.

They are a financially sound group of South American investors.

However the sales are not going as fast as expected and I think the reasons are
1. price
2. location
3. they all look the same

I left because I could not see a future there
