Does anyone know anything about the Heartwood community in Saint Augustine? I understand the lots are 1/2 acre or larger. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

This is a well located new subdivision with about 40 lots
I love the Wildwood area near great park, schools, and the beach yet only minutes to freeway and city
The builder is not known to me

Thank you very much for your insight. We were set on the shores, but now we're going to take a look at Heartwood before deciding. I did notice that Heartwood will not have a community center and I wondered if that would matter to us.

Palmetto Homes has been building homes in the St Augustine area for over 20 years. They have developed and built Ocean Palms, Sea Palms, Anastasia Lakes and took over development of Commodores Club from the original developer. They also have built custom homes including my home. They were wonderful to work with back in the late 90's when mine was built. I notice that Heartland does not mention the type of exterior construction, so I assume they are not block homes. To my knowledge, Palmetto has concentrated almost exclusively in block homes, so the fact those in Heartland will not be block is disappointing to me. You should definitely consider them. I'm not sure if schools are a factor, but I believe the west side of US 1 is in a different school zone than the east side.
