How much are you willing to pay for an apt. or condo rental? Do you have pets? What are your preferences for the high school your daughter would attend? Will you need to commute for employment?

IMO, you are most likely to find a rental in your price range that you will be happy with if you look in areas south of state roads 207 and 312 on the west side of the intercoastal. This will put you in the high school attendance zone for Pedro Menedez High School which is located on State Road 206 between Us 1 and I-95. There are often 2/2 condos for under $1000 in the Villa San Marco complex which is located near the hospital. Houses and condos are also frequently available for rent in St. Augustine Shores and areas nearby. You may have to pay a special pet deposit for the cat. There are traditional apartment complexes in St. Augustine, but most are not in the Pedro Menedez attendance area and I do not have a good impression about them. Where are you moving from and what type of rental are you and your daughter's accustomed to?

I just recently moved here. I agree that the Shores is a really nice place for a family. I would definitely look there.
