Do you think Deerwood townhouse is a good investment? I'm single and I recently saw a townhome below 200k. Hard to decide to buy a single family house or a townhouse. Any advice is appreciable.

In general, a single family home will have more long term value than a townhouse. You may be able to purchase a single family home for less than it would cost to rent given market conditions.

I agree with JCS 2000 Single family homes are more popular and beter value.

I don't believe a townhouse is a good investment. I would take a look at newer small, first-time buyer homes.
