Ok... Today's question...

Are there any 'TO Die For' Ice cream places, parlors, creameries?

Any concontions that are 'Jacksonville' favorites? I have noticed that people up her in Maryland tend to like 'Snowballs" with Marshmellow, or even chocolate on them.

I know this may shock folks but I am not a huge Ice Cream fan I am happy with the eddys double churned.
But I have been told by folks that the Cold stone places are pretty good.
They just opened a Carevls at baymeadows and 9A. My husband loves their ice cream cakes.

Talking Peterbrooke

Peterbrooke is the hometown team for chocolate and ice cream....they started in San Marco.

Kilwin's is also excellent (my fave ).

Cold Stone Creamery is another.

Marble Slab is yet another.

There are locations for all of them all over the city, and all can be found at the Saint John's Town Center in case you want to visit all four in one trip......not recommended .

I haven't had peterbrooke or kilwin's but cold stone and marble slab are rip city! too damned expensive. Just gimme a plain old chocolate cone, hold the BS.
If I had any brains I'd get a franchise for this ice cream place found at the jersey shore, I forgot the name but they serve a soft orange/vanilla ice cream that is great. A place like that would do ok in Jax beach

by next week I should be "recovered" from "plant camp" we can visit and check Carvels out. I think they have to be fresher than the ones that have been sitting in the freezer at Publix
