Moving to Jackson from Virginia - am flexible as to living arrangments but am looking for a very upscale apartment/condo complex regardless of price. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If money is no object, condos would include the Barrington and Eastbrook in northeast Jackson, the Breakers on the reservoir in Ridgeland, Township at Colony Park in Ridgeland, and at Lost Rabbit on the reservoir in Madison which on the water with a marina, new and very nice.

Yes, King Edward was just renovated and is partially a hilton hotel with apartments above. standard life building, which looks kind of like a mini version of the empire state building is right behind the king Edward. This area of downtown is beginning to be redone.

I recommend rentals in the Township first, and Lost Rabbit second. The Township has more amenities and better location. If I were single, that would be my choice. Lost Rabbit is more isolated. It is having some significant financial difficulties and hasn't evolved into what it was advertised as.
