and justice for all

Islam is a religion of justice and fairness, not showing favoritism to anyone at the expense of another.
The wise law has set limits and then commanded everyone to adhere to them.

a woman stole at the time of the Messenger of Allah Muhammad (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him)
, during the Conquest, and she was brought to the Messenger of Allah.
Usamah bin Zaid spoke to him concerning her.
But when he spoke to him, the face of the Messenger of Allah changed color,
and the Messenger of Allah said: "Are you interceding concerning one of the Hadd punishment decreed by Allah?"
Usamah said to him: "O Messenger of Allah ask Allah to forgive me!"
When evening came, the Messenger of Allah stood up and praised and glorified Allah, the mighty
and sublime, as He deserves, then he said:
"The people who came before you were destroyed because whenever a noble person among them stole, they would let him go.
But if one who was weak stole, they would carry out the Hadd punishment on him."
Then he said:
"By the One in whose hand is my soul, if Fatimah daughter of Muhammad were to steal, I would cut off her hand."

Justice? This is not justice. When Muhammad felt the Jewish tribes had betrayed the Muslims or broken their treaties, almost all were exiled, executed, or enslaved. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhamm..._views_on_Jews

O ye who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah,
even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor:
for Allah can best protect both.
Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest ye swerve, and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice,
verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

O you who believe! Be upright for Allah, bearers of witness with justice,
and let not hatred of a people incite you not to act equitably;
act equitably, that is nearer to piety,
and he careful of (your duty to) Allah;
surely Allah is Aware of what you do.

If ye punish, then punish with the like of that wherewith ye were afflicted.
But if ye endure patiently,
verily it is better for the patient.

You will never be able to do perfect justice between wives even if it is your ardent desire,
so do not incline too much to one of them (by giving her more of your time and provision)
so as to leave the other hanging (i.e. neither divorced nor married).
And if you do justice, and do all that is right and fear Allah by keeping away from all that is wrong,
then Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

One day, when Umar Ibn al Khaththab – may Allah be pleased with him-, leader of the believers,
bought a horse.
He lead it to walk several steps quite far from it’s seller, then he rode to try the horse.

The horse soon became lame

Then he tried to settle the matter himself, by returning it and assumed that the seller had tricked him.
but the seller refused to take the horse back from him.

Then, what should the leader of the believers do to this stubborn man?
Would he order to imprison him?
Or would he made a false accusation against him??
No, he filed a claim to get his right back.

But the man he claimed insisted that he should be the one to choose their judge.
Finally, he chose Shuraih, a well-known judge for his justice.
Whereas Umar -may Allah be pleased with him- sat as the suspect.

the horse was in a good condition when
Umar the leader of the believers bought it

And the judge’s decision put the blame on Umar -may Allah be pleased with him- according to the law,
and the he told Umar,
“Take what you have bought, or return it as you’ve received it.”

Yes, Indeed.
The two great verses from Quran

If you do good, it is for your own good, but if you do evil, it is to your own loss. Surah Al-Isra 7:17

Whoever does a good deed - it is for himself; and whoever does evil - it is against the self. Then to your Lord you will be returned. And Surah Jathiya 45:15

Allah commands justice,
the doing of good,
and liberality to kith and kin,
and He forbids all shameful deeds,
and injustice and rebellion:
He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition.
