Dear brother, I am not talking here only for prayer but also for ablutions before prayer and purity

This has a significant effect on the Muslim materially and morally.
Muslim stands in prayer before God to pray must be clean and pure in his body and his clothes and inside it was near to God and hope that God will forgive him

Paryer is one the five essential requirements that a Muslim is committed to perform. Prayer is given the highest priority in the Holy Quran. There are numerous advantages of performing prayer in the Book of Allah.

What do Muslims pray for...any examples?
Do they repeat the same prayers over and over?
If so, what would they be?
Thanks

Yes, for the obligatory 5 prayers, you generally repeat the same set of words over and over, while some choose to recite a different chapter (surah) of Quran in between those words. This type of prayer is mostly to praise God and to offer gratitude towards Him. This link here provides decent visuals of how obligatory prayer is offered and what words are repeated - Prayer in Pictures or Meditation in Islam

Otherwise, Muslims can pray or make "dua" at anytime, anywhere and it doesn't need to be accompanied with any Quranic verses. These duas/prayers can be made for anything as long as it is not "haram" etc.

Hello, l'm not sure if you will ever see this reply but to anybody else reading:

The main thing Muslims pray for is forgiveness. Even the Prophet Muhammad would pray for forgiveness daily.

We are as nothing compared to Allah. We don't even exist except in the mind of Allah. Yet, astonishingly, we have free will even though we are only figments in the imagination of Allah, so we can sin, even more astonishingly, we can repent with pure intention, desperate in our fear of Allah, begging Allah, pleading with our souls.

All this is highlighted by our praying for forgiveness from Allah, for ourselves, our loved ones, and even our enemies (the Prophet Muhammad was especially well known to beg Allah's forgiveness for his own enemies).

In other words, our sinning out of free will, and our returning to Allah out of free will, and begging his forgiveness in true desperation, all these things demonstrate the qualities of Allah, they make Allah known: his majesty, his love, his unbelievable gentleness, his unbelievable wrath, his unbelievable power.

So forgiveness seems to be the main thing we pray for.

Other things: healing, a good birth, a good marriage, a good life (life as long as it is good for us, senile dementia is terrible suffering), a good death, and a nice house in heaven.

"I was a hidden treasure; I loved to be known. Hence I created the world so that I would be known"

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “By Him in whose hand is my soul, if you did not sin, Allah would replace you with people who would sin and they would seek forgiveness from Allah and he would forgive them.”
Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2749
Grade: Sahih (authentic )according to Muslim

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “By Allah, I seek forgiveness from Allah and I repent to him more than seventy times in a day.”
Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5948
Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Bukhari

Note: the Prophet would pray forgiveness for his enemies, and maybe also things like feeling sad at some news e.g. his baby son's death perhaps - feeling sad would be normal for normal people, but maybe the Prophet considered it not so good for himself because he had a higher knowledge of paradise. So what l'm trying to say is, the Prophet would ask forgiveness from Allah for things that we wouldn't even consider to merit begging for forgiveness.

I hope this helps! Peace.

Certainly, your insight into the benefits of ablution aligns with both Islamic teachings and scientific findings.
