Do you think Social media will be the next bubble to occur and sadly bust.?
So many of these things are just overpriced with no earnings like the IT/Telecom bust of the past.

Maybe, I think it depends. LNKD has done pretty good this year.

Social Media isn't going anywhere, but whether their stocks will bust is another question. My generation is addicted to it and this new generation are VERY addicted to it. We don't use it just for socializing, but for gathering news, spreading awareness etc.

Social media will just adapt like it has always done. Which will make a companies run short lived. I think it is very tough to stay on top for any internet company. Facebook is the hot thing, but how many other "hot" internet stocks have their been...plenty. Facebook will have to adapt or will be the way of myspace eventually.

Facebook is definitely and has been consistently overvalued, and that didn't help all the hype.

Social media doesnt need to be traded for the long term. They need to be brought under a conglomerate similar to media networks. They are going to be such a norm that their valuations will only be undermined by someone else that made that product better.

Its starting to happen now slowly but surely.

Pass.

A bubble?

More of a float-this-leaky-boat and sell some tickets to fast-cash idiots before the Second Leg of the Great Recession kicks in.

Just unloading what can be sold to some buyer.
