I've used Google maps and Google Earth for years and have only recently discovered Bing Maps which I kinda prefer. But, maybe these changes will take me back to Google. Read more @ If You Use Google Maps, Be Ready for a Change Soon | TheBlaze.com

Google maps are far superior in overall accuracy, especially with updates in route numbering and new construction. Microsoft seems to be using the same data set for their web maps as they are for Streets & Trips, and S&T has some pretty significant accuracy issues, and they don't update it often enough (not even once a year).

Google also seems to have better satellite imagery, although Bing has better aerial (shot from an aircraft instead of a satellite) imagery. Google's street view is also a godsend for our business.

My parents just went on trip out west, I used street view to check out a bed breakfast to make sure it was kept nice. LOL.

I've been using it. Part of the Beta since the beginning. Even brought a few things to Goggle Attention. The 3d Map was totally broken in CLE and Pittsburgh. Now fixed.
You can get a Preview or switch to it now here: https://www.google.com/maps/preview

I still prefer Waze on my phone though. Google likes it, too.

Looks the same to me. The image of my property is at least one and half year old.

I couldn't figure it out. OTOH I typically use it on my phone, where it is much easier to navigate than the desktop website. I use the old version on the desktop and the latest version of the app on my phone.

There was a link to that end the very first time the new Maps appeared. Since it has never loaded the new Maps since, I suppose my wish might have been saved in my browser (Chrome) somehow as I don't have a Google account, either. Plus, I have set Chrome to delete all cookies after every session, so it can't be a cookie, either, I suppose.

I noticed the new interface on Google Maps last time I used it, confused the heck out of me-
I'd just gotten good at figuring out how to use the previous version of it.
