Hey I was wondering if anyone has any experience sending out emails to 3000+ recipients. A friend of my works for a non-profit and asked me if I knew of a software package to accomplish this. I was thinking about gmail and it seems like it will do the trick, but wanted to see if anyone has had some experience with this.

Thanks!

That will be something to do with care. It's pretty easy to get labeled a spammer if you're sending a ton of messages.

I send about 75 out for a client and every so often I get very concerned messages from ISPs. Not always, though, which is confusing.

I would imagine 3000 would trip some triggers.

OK. I googled "bulk email software" and got a ton of hits. Best recommendation I can give is to do some research.

Thanks already did a little research on this and too many options on the software side. I am aware of the spam problem and sending small batches to avoid being flagged - just with the numbers, I was trying to see if anyone had any ideas.... It's defiantly not spam it is people that are members of this org.

I am leaning towards Gmail, plus I can transfer the MX record so they can send through their domain, etc.

Thanks!
