I am out here in California -around San Francisco , lucky to be in close proximity to the #1 High school Girls Basketball Team - Sacred Heart cathedral -- but my friend has moved to Indy - lives in Butler Tarkington and when i visit - ill be wanting some good Girls HS basketball .... What's the HS girls BBall atmosphere in Indy ???

The reason I asked when you will be here is because HS girls Bball doesn't begin until early November. (Last year D's HS's first game was 11/3. If I recall correctly neither does Middle school ball. IHSAA - Play On (http://www.ihsaa.org/g-basketball_frame.htm - broken link)

I don't mean to be a smartypants, but take your pick. Heritage Christian has a great girl's basketball program, as does Carmel, North Central ... Pike ... all are on the north side or in North suburban Indy.
