I guess I'm just a little confused.....Is there a reason other than "diversity" you want to live between Indy and Lafayette? There's a whole lot of corn between the two cities. If you mean to live in the Indy area, why would you want to do that? Will either you or your spouse be working in Indy? If not, I would live in the Lafayette area, and probably in West Lafayette. Based on state statistics, it has a high performing school district with a sizable Asian population.

While just about all of the schools have a performing arts dept. Broad Ripple is now a Performing Arts School. Herron, might be the best bet though around these parts.

There are very few true performing arts schools in Indiana and I only know of two and that's Broad Ripple (now) and Emerson in Gary.

Thx to all replies. Daughter was accepted at performing arts school in Wisconsin, but we hv to move due to hubbys new job. She was so excited and loves theatre, singing, performing. She's been in lots of musicals & does singing contests. She is devastated that we hv to mv now. Just tryg to get her to sm place comparable so that she can contin learning abt theatre, music, and keep grades up like she's always done. Just worried that this move will affect her negatively. She's a grt kid & I want to mk sure we get her to the right place. We, as a family want things to do. We were tld that there is not a lot to do in lafayette. Just worried & need positive advice. Pls be kind.
