lol heck thats where we would skip school is in the gorge. Didnt look too deep or anything until you got halfway across the G Street bridge and looked over the side. I remember giant potholes forming on that bridge and all of us wondering "when the hell are they going to fix this freakin thing?!?!" i do remember if you want an awesome meal stop in at the Sunshine Cafe (hope its still there) theyre 24/7 and the country fried steak is to die for. Joy Ann Bakery makes some awesome baked goods. If they still have them, Rax is the same as Arby's but a lot better. They make incredible blueberry and chocolate chip milkshakes there.

i only recall one business (factory) being operational and that was Mosey MFG. Wayne Works, Alcoa, and AMCAST i believe all went under.

The Glen Miller Park had a zoo of sorts but they shipped the animals off to other zoos back in the 80s.

The Reservoir is a halfway decent place to fish but dont expect much other than bluegill, carp, catfish, and the rare (as in rarely caught) Northern Pike.

There are sidewalks on every street but in the winter time they plow the snow onto the sidewalks. So if you walk you have to either walk on the street or on top of 4-5' high drifts.

One way streets alternate. For example, South 6th Street is 2 way
South 7th Street goes South to North
South 8th Street goes North to South.

Basic way to remember the roads is longitude (N, S) are numbers. Lattitude (E,W) are letters. Dont forget about the alleys.
