Someone had mentioned there are lots of rental homes in the Noblesville area and I had some questions regarding that.

With housing in the suburbs of Indiana staying pretty solid at only a 1%-2% growth, why do so many have rental properties there?

I have rental properties in Orlando, but the growth rate is much higher especially now with foreign cash coming in which also lowers risk because they are usually cash buyers. I expect real estate in Florida to go much higher with far fewer mortgages being written so to me it makes sense to own rental homes.

150k =1,300 month plus 10% -15% annual growth makes sense

Indianapolis on the other with a highly stable market but little appreciation and the only income is the rent money, does it make sense to buy rental homes in Indy? Perhaps a good retirement strategy?

Thoughts?

Given these are Indianapolis suburbs to which you're referring, you would probably get a better response in the Indy forum.
