there's a new gym (lifestyle family fitness--really big) on 96th and meridian and wild oats is right around the corner on 86th street and Trader joes is right around there too.

I have a lot of friends who have relocated from the Chicagoland area and have settled here. I would check out Hamilton County, which will contain the towns of Noblesville, Fishers, Carmel, Westfield, and to the north, Cicero, Sheridan, Atlanta, and Arcadia. Noblesville has been in the national press over the last few years making lots of "top of list" reccomendations. You can usually get to indy under an hour. traffic is not as bad as Chicago so daily trips across town can be relativly short timed. Indiana is pushing to limit taxes, permantly, to 1% of your assessed value. $200k = $2000 annually, unless the community votes in a special referendum for schools or other public works.
