We have typically gone through Nashville, Atlanta down but haven't done this for a few years. I'm reading horror stories about the Nashville and Atlanta traffic. Would we be better off going 75 down to 10 and across? Looking for advice. Thanks.

I-75 will take you to Bonita Springs, no need to get on I-10.

I think you might be a little confused. Taking I-75 still means you have to go through Atlanta. Traffic can get a little nuts in both of the towns you mentioned, but with this being such a long drive is it possible to just time your departure and rest stops to avoid rush hours? Avoiding peak driving times should make it fairly painless getting through these places. At the very least, you could just use the outer belts instead of driving through downtowns. It wouldn't add more than 10-15 miles to your trip.

My wife and I visit Tennessee from Naples as often as possible. We always use either of the bypass' around Atlanta, but we still try to time it to miss rush hour(s).

Good luck
