Another lawsuit challenging Arizona's law targeting illegal immigration is being filed Monday.
The American Civil Liberties Union, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund are among groups filing the latest challenge in U.S. District Court in Phoenix.
At least four other lawsuits have been filed previously, and all are expected to eventually be consolidated for court consideration.
Another lawsuit this morning from the above groups in an effort to stop AZ 1070.

They should wait until the law goes into effect, and see how it does. They're tieing up the courts for something they think may happen. Ordinarily you don't charge someone for something you think they might do in the future. They're just showing what whacked out groups they are. Always so quick to accuse someone of being unfair, racist, and bigotted before there's any indication of that. I hope the courts throw these suits out on the grounds that those filing have not been harmed by the law, and therefor have no standing.

Agreed! How can they file a lawsuit about racial profiling when the law hasn't even gone into effect yet and the language of the law prohibits it? Just mind boggling, isn't it?

More wasted taxpayer money due to illegal aliens. Frivilous law suits which will be lost.

Yawn.
The ACLU is sueing someone. When aren't they sueing someone? Oh yeah the ACLU feels that pedophiles have a right to swap kiddie porn. They sued about that too.

And that may well be the point of these lawsuits, as the cost of losing a lawsuit is not paid by the ACLU, but by taxpayers....So, win or lose, these lawsuits will further drain Arizona's resources.

Just my opinion....

Can you show me the text of the law that explicitly prohibits racial profiling?
