Immigration enforcement sweeps need to be done vigilantly. Obama says wants to create more jobs, he should hire more enforcement agents. You can't attack the problem for a few days and then ignore it.

"immigrants"...

What they mean is they were all illegals. An "immigrant" is going to have a background check before they are allowed in the country and hired to work.

Funny you mention that; the Washington Examiner version of this article carried the headline "596 immigrants convicted"

596 immigrants convicted of crimes nabbed in South | Washington Examiner (http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/nation/596-immigrants-convicted-of-crimes-nabbed-in-south-92512869.html#ixzz0mc7BQcVV - broken link)

It must make the media crazy, that despite their best effort to try and shame us all into going against this measure in Arizona that poll after poll is taken and the legitimate polls show Americans in heavy support of this bill. It must make them crazy that most Americans understand the difference between immigrant and "undocumented worker". There used to be a time when we listened to the news and assumed we heard the story...we have learned our lesson and it must make the media so angry that we now don't give them nearly the power they want.
