The most dangerous time for amnesty will be after the Nov elections when the anticipated tsunami of ousted left wing socialist amnesty democrats and RINOs, who at that point would have nothing to lose before they leave office, all might be willing to subvert the American voting process and vote to amnesty all of the illegal alien future democratic voters, ostensibly for the future of the democratic party.

Please Roguer. Don't use such a broad brush to paint people. I am a Democrat. I am STRONGLY against any type of Amnesty Program and will ensure the elected officials of my state are well aware of that. I am a HUGE supporter of getting a strong, enforceable Illegal Immigration Reform Act written, passed and enforced. I have NO sympathy for people who came into this country knowingly in a illegal manner. And just to add to it, I am first generation American. My parents came into this country in the 40's legally after much inspection and vetting. No one should get an easy ride or pass into this country.

Please don't do this.
I am a liberal.
My family got its start doing the low level farm work that illegals are doing now, except they did it for better relative wages. Those low level manual jobs were a way for the poor to keep their heads above water and some moved on to better things.
That can no longer be done.
The black owned construction industry in California is no more because of these illegals.
Black businesses were pushed out of the rebuild of their own towns in Katrina by special laws that allowed for illegals to be hired.
This thing is hurting ALL American citizens.
Both parties favor the illegals. McCain's stand on this issue was the same as Obama's, in fact, McCain the almost President, was the Republican point man for this issue.
So, it is not, to me, a left vs. right issue.
ALL Americans are hurt by this.
Our standard of living, no matter which party, is being lowered by their presence.
We should be joining together on this issue.
Our opponents want us to fight amongst each other.
We must be smarter than that.
It is the country and way of life that we both love so dearly that is at stake.

I am in total agreement with you here yet unfortunately our government makes us choose come voting time. Sort of voting for the lessor of two evils in my mind. We do not have "time" to work out the kinks and get a REAL American in the White House. So I agree, let's try and think Independently and vote for the best for America.
