This was certainly predictable. At least Brown lives in reality:

Quote:
“Sen. Brown told the president that he would review any legislation if it came before the Senate, but he believes that the immediate focus should be on fixing the economy and creating jobs,”
Brown's stance still remains non supportive of illegal aliens.

Quote:
During his campaign, Brown said he was against granting driver’s licenses and in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens.
Obama is getting desperate.

Quote:
The development comes as the White House commitment to overhaul the immigration system this year is collapsing, with the Obama administration undecided about the best way to proceed on an issue that it at one time identified as a top, first-year priority.

I just transmitted the following letter to the Senator:

Quote:
Senator Brown,

It has recently come to the attention of many people, that the President of the United States has contacted you about immigration reform. It appears to us you are being courted to support reform.

Reform can mean anything, but, to the democrats it means amnesty. Poll after poll of legal Americans consistently show that we are against another amnesty fiasco.

We realize that the estimate of 12 to 15 million illegal immigrants in this country is just a guess, one that many believe is very understated. It is also widely believed, that once the senate sits down to begin discussion, a flood gate would be opened at our border with many swearing they have been here for 10 yeas plus.

The reality, we could end up granting legal rights to 40 or 50 million people. Our country cannot support this. I have heard how when legal, immigrants would be able to pay taxes. This is not a reality to any thinking American. We are smart enough to realize that it is uneducated, and unskilled workers who sneak across our border, they will get more back in tax credits than they ever pay into.

I have also heard the illegal population make threats to how the next elections may go. They can't vote, and even with a green card, they can't vote, unless they register illegally, hence, committing another crime.

We have cartel drug wars leaking across our border, we have violence to the point of murder making its way into America. It is time to control the border now, not tomorrow, but now.

There are brave patriots in Arizona who have decided to finally do the job the federal government can't, or won't do. Lets not let them down.

The President while campaigning, promised there would be no immigration reform that did not include being sent home and starting a legal process, he promised no immigration reform that did nor include mandatory English proficiency, and he promised no immigration reform that did not include a fine.

Now, it appears this will be another promise broken, or an outright lie. What kind of fine would a minimum wage worker pay ?

Anything would be an insult to Americans, and those that did things the correct way. Hopefully, the GOP, and many democrats will realize, the spark of Obama is fading, and I would encourage people to NOT hitch their cart to this one term horse.

Please, remember the constitution, remember the laws, remember the integrity of our country. Please do not support any immigration reform.

Sincerley,

You can contact Senator Brown directly via the following link to express your concern:

Excellent letter! I would have only added this to it. There were only 10 million Hispanic citizens that voted in the presidential election yet they think they can make or break a political candidate by their votes. Do the math, there are 260 million non-Hispanics in this country. Who are you going to listen to and who do you think really has clout in this country? Do what is right for Americans and this country not foreign invaders and their traitorous supporters.

If they don't like it, let them pack up, jump on a raft or however else they came here and go on back home. I think the other States in the country can take a page out of Arizona's book and pass similar legislation.

Don't like it? Too bad!!!

Here is a little something for you to enjoy on CHANGE

There's an old sea story in the Navy about a ship's Captain who inspected his sailors, and afterward told the Chief Boatswain that his men smelled bad. The Captain suggested perhaps it would help if the sailors would change underwear occasionally.

The Chief responded, "Aye, aye sir, I'll see to it immediately!"

The Chief went straight to the sailors berth deck and announced, "The Captain thinks you guys smell bad and wants you to change your underwear." He continued, "Pittman, you change with Jones, McCarthy, you change with Witkowski, and Brown, you change with Schultz. Now GET TO IT!"
