I think Congress needs to pass a bill making people a US citizen if you are born to at least one US citizen, either mother or father. Right now if you are born in America, you are a citizen. So the illegals cross the border, pop out 5 kids and live off of our welfare because the kids are legal citizens! I am fed up with them overcrowding the schools and our public facilities. You have to pay to get into a lot of parks and beaches now to help fund these illegals. Speak English you are in America! They come into our schools and hold our children down because so much time is focused on ESL...isn't there anything we can do?

That's only because the Fourteenth Amendment has been taken completely out of context. The original framers of this amendment specifically stated that it was not to be applied to the children of foreign nationals born in this country, but applied to the children of Black slaves in partial reparation for slavery.

Someone with deep pockets and an intelligent Constitutional attorney needs to challenge the validity of the Fourteenth Amendment. The original intent was honorable and necessary. Now it's just being used as a one-size-fits-all citizenship guarantee for the children of people in this country who are in willfull violation of sovereign U.S. law.

Cool Logic

Could you imagine someone getting paid for each illegal we have. They may be because no one in our government is paying any attention. Funny, no one in office cares. There has to be a reason. And I got news for them, once they get the "Little Guy" they aren't going to stop. No, they are going all the way because no one says "NO". If they don't know that they are reallly dumb.

And; it is past due to either revoke or at least alter the 14th Amendment.

Needless to say: grandfather the present Anchor Babies in as US citizens but, subsequent births........the children would be just as 'illegal' as their lawbreaking parents.

Again, we are discussing consequences, we are not bringing up what is causing this problem. Illegals will be here as far as US companies keep hiring them. This is crazy, like what comes first the egg or the chicken, we just need to shut down the farm!!!!! and then we wont have chicken running out there and making eggs all over the country.
