Immigration is a problem and has to be solved. It will be solved. Not everyone will be happy. It is impossible to please all kind of thinking with a single law.Some will be happy, some will be sad.While everyone is waiting the problem to be solved, I have an idea, because mexicans are such a great burden to America,maybe we can find out if France and the UK will trade them for the many middle easter and their children born there. Has anyone tryed to pray about the matter? Most things need to. Even immigration. As true as 2+2=4 All the sanators, the president, the congresspeople and their votes for wherever law have to be prayed about. Some of us believe and will do so, some do not and will not do so.It is much more than what we think and what we want, what we need or don"t need.Everything has a purpose.All the ideas should be presented to God. What a difference it makes.
I have thought about this issue, yes I have prayed about it. I prayed to God to not let the bill pass, it did not. Every country has it's border, why do you think Israel has so many problems? (and others) Americans are just waking up, and we are tired of paying for everyone elses problems! It does not matter who or where; Mexico, Iraq, Iran, Africa, Cuba, anywhere!
How about we concentrate on Americans for a change? Help Americans, not everyone else! Medical care, housing, or whatever. American Indians for the most part live in poverty, (except for the casino owners) they had their land taken from them! Is that what you want? That is where we are heading.

NO. THAT IS NOT WHAT I WANT. PLEASE READ MY POST AGAIN.
A better idea would be to extend automatic US citizenship to the parents, grandparents, and siblings of all babies born in the US. That would go a long way toward helping to keep families together, allowing them to focus on what they came here to do...leading successful, productive lives that contrbute to both themselves and society...
There lies our existing problem! No more automatic citizenship to babies born to illegals, period!

BigRed---Anchor babies are illegal and so are their parents. That's reality. That also applies to all the others who come here and do the same thing be they European, Arabs, whomever!! We can't take care of everyone. We have problems right here-lots of homeless people who need help byw they are American citizens. They sleep rolled in newspapers right on the streets of NYC. It's pathetic. Many African Americans yes they have been here over 400 years and brought here against their will and no I'm not Black who are living in complete poverty. In NJ there are approx 5,000 children in foster care and mostly Black. What about them?Their rights are way before anchor babies. The Mexican government is rich and dumping their problems on the USA. Let them take care of their own. Mexico is a rich country! I'm sure many churches will help the downtrodden from all the poor Countries as much as they can help.

And I tell you give me an illegal mexican anyday over a legal person like they have now in the UK, who is born there, moved ,raised there,and have no problem at all blowing their fellow citizens.At least a mexican loves life and will not hide a bomb under their shirt and blow a subway,bus, or a jet full of innocent people. I am not saying illegal imigration is the way to go. I am saying that changes ,big changes, are happening right now under our noses. Lets pray that we do not get people who hate us and want us dead,and will do whatever they can to send us and our children to an early grave. Are you aware of the huge problems the UK are having now? Now I see what you meant. Yes, I do understand it is global. France is kicking people out. UK has a bigger problem with the bombings, I know. But with the border on Mexico open, it could allow people that do want to hurt Americans a better chance to get into the country. Also, the other countries do not have the problem of millions of illegals like we do!

I am not for open border, believe me. It is not the way to go. But America is a great country, and people from all over the world want to come here, lets pray that God bless all the politicians working on the matter and that we may have a sensible solution for ththis situation. And of course it is not going to please EVERYONE.
As for their number of illegals I do not have a lot of information. For sure they have a huge problem with their legal and their offspring. And they can not send them back home. Awful and sad.

here is a thought. pass a law that says people on work visas must send their children born in the US back to their home country. These children are not US citizens. The law also is retroactive and affects people born within the past 50 years.
