We here in Idaho haven't had any problems, but now there's a few cities that no one will go to, unless you have to due to gangs. The worst part is that the Boise area was warned 10 years ago and they just brushed them off as wannabes.

I have no issue with legal immigrants as a group; Mexican or otherwise, as long as they respect our laws and customs.

It is the illegal aliens that I have no respect for.

The less illegal criminals in this country the better.

All that's needed is a longer recession and higher unemployment and we may be seeing more illegals self-deporting.

I honestly hope that the recession continues into 2010 and considering that Obama's stimulus package has done little to no good at all the illegal alien population may start declining at a faster rate.

I thought you guys claimed there were 20-30 million illegal immigrants?

Speaking for just myself: I never claimed an actual 20-30 million illegals unless counting the US born Anchor Babies who are US citizens, unfortunately.

Since, you have a little more insight to gang activity in your area would you say these are American kids or illegals? Just don't understand why our government didn't stop the gangs way before they started.

As I stated before, citizens were warning the Boise area and they just ignored our cries. The little town I live in, we just don't put up with it. They tried for months to tag, the whole town got involved and just won't allow it. Every time we saw a marking it was removed immediately. This summer we have not seen any tagging so maybe they got the idea they were not going to take this town.

I am with you on respect our laws and customs, but the more I am seeing our customs don't mean a thing to some and our own laws are being used against us by the very people we try to help.........go figure!!!
