Today, President Obama reiterated his commitment to address comprehensive immigration reform this year (view the story in The New York Times).

We need your action to let the President and Congress know that we are ready to roll up our sleeves and work with them to get it done!

The "can't-do" folks are already calling Senator Reid and Speaker Pelosi with their usual tune: "This cannot be done."

We know better.

Contact President Obama, Senator Reid, and Speaker Pelosi and tell them: "Yes we can!"

1. CALL
Take one minute to call President Obama and thank him for his commitment to move immigration reform forward in 2009.
[b]- For English, call (866) 584-3962. Damn. they never quit, do they? We really can't let the RAZA crowd pull this off ! Amnesty is a dead horse, why do they keep whipping it???

Unfortunately a massive blanket amnesty is not a dead horse. In spite of -- or even because of large and growing unemployment in states like California, some cities with 20% unemployment, the illegals are stomping their feets even harder demanding their USA citizenship which will get them unemployment, social security checks, more food stamps, and much much more. They want in on Obama's government program to get Americans in to homes they "own" with a lot of taxpayer help of course. The illegals are afraid they might not get in on that without legal residency or citizenship.

Plus they are demanding a big family reunification program so they can start bringing in any relative that wants to come here and get in on the big government give-aways.

Plus in many areas of Mexico and Central America, there is growing violence and that's as good an excuse to come here as any. There will be many people wanting to get in on this, and with the new laws in their own countries, they can keep their Mexican citizenship, and obtain USA citizenship for whatever it gives them.

Tell La Raza to go to hell. We need to lock down the border first. Then we can discuss immigration "reform."

You are right. That is coming next. They are all going to flock to the US demanding Temporary Protected Status. The only problem will be that they will never leave. We have Central Americans who came here after a hurricane 15 years ago and they have never left. This will be another form of stealth amnesty.
