YouTube - Mississippi Mandates Empoyer Verification

Score one for the anti-illegals. The southern states have really gotten something going against illegals.

Alanboy - I think they just want to enforce the laws and that is A OK.
I hope more states follow their lead.

Does this mean that all businesses in Mississippi are required to use e-verify or just all government businesses?

This is a great idea but I wonder why Florida, California, Texas, or even New York isn't leading the way? Those places is where you will see some impact?

Most illegal aliens get around everify by using the ID and identity of LEGAL friends and relatives who are about the same age and sex. One legal Hispanic Male may appear to work at 15-20 places-- all so his illegal alien relative or friend can get a job.

E-Verify only indicates if the person indicated on the ID is a legal resident.
