Obviously, and Thankfully . . . THE NOOSE IS TIGHTENING all over The Country!
Finally, NC wakes up and smells the coffee. After VA, KY, TN, GA, FL, and SC finally NC comes to the front of the line to fight illegal immigration.

Being that NC has had the reputation for being pro illegal immigrant-----I am surprised to say the least.

Memo to the illegal immigrants and their enablers: the hammer is evidently coming down in; shall we say, in 'unlikely' places

for the people who complain that immigration is bringing more unskilled, uneducated poor people into america..why would you be against an immigrant going on to higher learning? If an immigrant is looking that far ahead in life, im sure he/she would later become a legal citizen..and having finished college have something to offer the country.

Especially since so many of the educated middle class is fleeing places like california.

Again:

Legal immigrants are welcome.

Illegal ones need to be deported post haste------they have the same rights as any other lawbreaker.

Who is against an "immigrant" going on to higher learning? More power to them! Immigrants who come here legally have to learn and pay for school legally too. Illegals, however, shouldn't be allowed to learn on our dime, and they shouldn't be in our country unless they took the proper channels - let their home country pay for their schooling.

Or have them illegals trade in that $40k SUV or work truck to pay for their schooling.

They can go to college here, they just aren't entitled to a taxpayer subsidized education. They simply must pay the same rates any out-of-state student must pay.

Yes and it would seem that foreign students legally here paying higher tuition must feel extremely put upon when they realize that those here illegally are given special benefits.

Completely unfair to charge a legal foreign student who went throught he bother of obtaining a legal foreign student visa so much more, and yet reward those breaking every kind of law to be here.

Besides -- I thought the whole argument for massive illegal immigration was that we needed cheap lettuce pickers, lettuce pickers don't need college.
