Somehow illegals can not only support themselves here on jobs "supposedly" Americans won't do, but they also send billions back home to Mexico in remittances every year. It is the number two financial resource for Mexico after oil and gas.
Those billions should be staying here and stimulating our economy.

That's a cost never accounted for.

Trump's in a heap of trouble? What does that mean? Illegal immigration is one of the most pressing and costly problems that our country is facing today.

Any person who is here illegally in the United States needs to be returned to his/her country of origin. End of story.

It would take 7,000 deportations a DAY, 365 days a year, for four years to deport the ~10,000,000 million illegals.

And?

How many years did it take for the 11/12 million (Obama's numbers, which I believe is MUCH HIGHER) to get here?

Aren't you forgetting the self-deportations that would occur when all of the incentives are removed for them to remain here?

If our immigration laws are enforced, we would not have to deport them, they would have no choice but to leave. They can't work, if they are not eligible for food stamps, (which they currently are), if we make it illegal to be an accomplice in enabling them to stay, as with the churches helping them, they could not stay, and may not be driven here in the first place. For mayors, and governors to proudly claim they are going to do whatever they can to keep illegals here (sanctuary cities), should make them an accomplice. Many of these politicians are lawyers, and should be disbarred if they break the law, not to mention charged with a crime.

One thing that should change, which I hope Trump would have thought about it, is being given automatic citizenship once you are born here. Anchor babies, are a key in anchoring illegals to remain here.

Sorry if my post was unclear. I was just pointing out how deporting a few people here and there isn't going to get the job done. It's always interesting to break down the numbers.

I support the deportation of illegals immigrants. I didn't sign up to give free food and education to anyone who sneaks into this country.

I'm not opposed to charity at all. Quite the opposite, but I hate that the government is sticking it's hand in my pocket and giving money to criminals. I'd like to decide who to help, and first in line are American citizens. Especially our vets.
