Huckabee vows to defy birthright citizenship*-*-*The Washington Times, America's Newspaper

Wow, either we elect this guy or Obama. So, all you folks that are voting for a candidiate who is strong on immigration may want to take a second look at Huckabee.

P.S> I dont' think it will pass the supreme court, though.

WOW! If this really is the case then I feel I finally have a GOOD reason to vote for him. I'd like to hear it from him though.

The minutemen appear to be supporting him. So, if it's good enough for them then it must be real.

that was a conditional endorsement by one minuteman, based on what huckabee promised him, but what he delivered in arkansas was quite a bit different. he is still for scholarships for illegal immigrant children, and i still see that as punishing the children of taxpayers for the benefit of lawbreakers. he would never get my vote! someone has to be looking out for our blue collar workers and their families. after all, they are the families who have paid taxes all these years. look up his platform on wikipedia on immigration if you want to know the truth about huckabee.

Huckabee is a LIAR! He wants to give special treatment to kids of illegal aliens. He also proposes a "touch-back" policy which would require illegal aliens to go to 1 of the nationally located Mexican Consoule offices, walk in the door, fill out some papers, and wal back out free and legal in one day!

Also don't be fooled. Huckabee is NOT an ex-preacher. HE LIED TO THE RELIGIOUS VOTERS TO GET THEIR VOTE!

And then there is this about him saying the exact opposite.

I JUST heard him absolutely deny the report. He said the reporter never got in touch with him or the campaign and HE NEVER SAID IT! He did say he would follow any ruling of the Supreme Court, but he had no trouble with accepting the constitution as it stands now recognizing citizenship for anyone born here INCLUDING chldren of illegal immigrants. He said he would not favor amending the constitution on this point.

WRONG! The MCDC who is building the fence and watching to border is the organization of Chris Simcox. Jim Gilchrist, who use to be part of the Minuteman when they started, is now The Minuteman Project. There is a letter of 84 anti-illegal organization refuting Gilchrist's endorsement of Huckabee and show Huckabee's record on illegal immigration. Huckabee's anti-immigration stance is abysmal. He has called law-abiding citizens who want their laws enforced "race-baiters" and xenophobes.

If you want more information on his record you can visit Numbers USA dot com and check out the candidates records, promises, and ratings.

Here is a link to the letter and the anti-immgration group leaders who signed a letter rebuking the endorsement. So the ONLY one endorsing Huckabee is Jim Gilchrist NOT the Minuteman or the other anti-illegal immigration movements.

As with any candidate, do your research. Don't just believe what someone tells you. Huck has a voting history of saying one thing and voting another way. He's also very soft on foreign policy and right now with all that's going on, we need someone that is going to be a strong leader in that area.

As for the statement that he's being backed by the MinuteMen, not true, as stated a couple times above.
