Even up north here in Massachusetts we are dealing with illegals. He was "competent" enough to come here but not "competent" enough to stand trial for his crimes. He's not only an illegal, or a murderer but he also was an undocumented worker. The whole shabang. My heart goes out to Matthew's family.

Nicolas Guaman Not Competent to be Tried; Judge to Revisit Case - Milford, MA Patch

WORCESTER — A Superior Court judge has determined Nicolas Dutan Guaman is not competent to be tried at this time, but has the capacity to understand his case and work with attorneys with the help of the correct interpreter.
Judge Janet Kenton-Walker said Guaman does not have a mental defect or disease, and can learn what he needs to know with the assistance of a qualified, Quechua interpreter. She ordered attorneys to hire a qualified interpreter who speaks his indigenous language, who can work with him on the case.

Guaman was arrested on Aug. 20, 2011, following a short pursuit by Milford Police. He is jailed in a Worcester County facility.

They're getting away with it and being very nicely rewarded.

In her order, the judge found prosecutors had not met the state's burden, showing by a preponderance of evidence that the defendant has "a rational, as well as factual, understanding of the proceedings against him.
In an American courtroom everyone is entitled to certain rights.

If they are taken away from this defendant they can be taken away from you.

You are innocent until proven guilty, those rights are given to all defendants.

If you wish to get rid of that right for people you don't like, the US really has started a decline.

He was competent enough to go to the liquor store and buy a 6 pack with an EBT card and competent enough to drive drunk. This is just an example of them getting more rights then an american citizen. Just imagine if you or I went to Ecuador and did this to an ecuadorian. Would we be "not competent" enough to stand trial? No, we'd get the book thrown at us. His brother is also an illegal alien and his charges were DROPPED.

Ecuadorians are not concerned with being PC to gringos when they break the law in Ecuador. In America many illegals use the race card as leverage to get away with all sorts of bad behavior.
