President Obama’s pledge to pursue a package of gun control measures next month has immigration advocates concerned whether the effort could delay or distract the White House from moving quickly to fulfill another of his second-term priorities.

shame, therefore, it's beyond their reach.
Regardless I don't thing legioslattors are too wanting to takeup immagration reform after what happened last time when it was brought up under Bush. Washingto line were jammed and has mnay who support the bill said;we hear you loud and clear. i expect this time more repulbican and democratic supporters will sound off again and it will die on the floor.Obama could even get the dream act to floor.

Yeah, they were ticked off when Obama didn't take up immigration reform in his first term because he was involved with bail outs, healthcare reform, the economy and jobs. I guess these issues should be put on the back burner to placate illegal immigrants and their ethnocentric supporters.

I have never in my life seen a more selfish group. I suppose we should put everything on the back burner behind their demands. It's amazing that bleeding heart citizens still can't see their true colors. Illegals don't give a flying fig about this country. They only care about what they can get.

What bothers me even more is their selfish ethnocentric supporters with a tribal mentality who put their ethnic group above our immigration laws inspite of their negative impact on our nation as a whole.
