This so ridiculous. It is like saying well let's let the petty thieves go because afterall there are bank robbers to go after. These "petty thieves" aka illegal aliens just haven't been convicted yet of more serious crimes like the felony of I.D. theft, tax evasions, etc. but we know they are committing these crimes not to mention that they are here in violation of our immigration laws.
So we should allow these criminals to roam freely around our country so they will feel free to report other criminals? God, help this country.
I'm glad we've gotten to the point where we are assuming all people residing within immigrant communities are criminals.
Around here the local immigrant population is around 70% illegal but that's beside the point. Your weak attempt to cry racism or discrimination is nothing but hogwash. Why would a legal resident not trust the police?

Perhaps police had been treating them all like they were criminals?
I guess the concept of "resource allocation" is too advanced?
Wow, you want to bring up resource allocation to defend letting illegals stay in this country when in reality, resource allocation is the #1 reason to deport them all. Our country's resources should NEVER be used on illegal aliens who come here to steal them.
