I'm sure you read or watched the story yesterday or the day before about a man who witnessed a kidnapping and got in his truck and chased after the suspect. In the end he was able to save the girl. Today it turns out he is an illegal alien. His wife is here legally. He's been living here for the past four years.
I agree with the Obama Administration in reviewing each case. Criminals need to be deported and new illegals should also be deported. However, law abiding people who have been living and working here for awhile should be given a path to citizenship.
This issue deals 100% with real people, so using a giant axe isn't right and I don't see how any of you right wing Christians can look at yourself in the mirror and think God is happy with you if you think otherwise.

Where does God come into the picture? I don't recall reading anything in the Bible that proclaims a nation's border to be the impetus for providing inalienable rights to anyone and everyone that wants it.
The fact that you'd throw "right wing Christians" and "God" into this discussiion pretty much makes this thread a total FAIL.
The sad part is that you don't even see the fallacy of your own thought process.

Enough political correctness. The majority of conservative republicans are proclaim they are loyal Christians. Look at Perry...so you don't think it's hypocritcal to show no compassion at all. Many illegals are criminals and many are not. Many have families here, children etc. If you call yourself a Christian and you don't think it's worth the time to review each deporation case, than you just proved the point any non-Christian says about Christians...they are hypocrites. Or you could view it the other way that conservative republicans are hypocrites. I don't think God would approve of blindly tearing apart families.
I saved a mexican swimmer from drowning in cancun-- can i get my mexican citizenship please? true story bro
And all of the entitlements that come with it--big LOL
Way to go, man. Heroes are hard to find.
This guy is a stand-up guy in my eyes, with a job, a family, and he is a community hero. Why would anyone not want this type of human being to be an American?

I'm a Christian and I support the law that makes crossing our border illegally a CRIME. I don't care who you are, or why you came here. If you did it illegally, then you are a criminal. It's as simple as that. My God does not force me to accept criminality, contrary to your ill-informed view of Christianity.
He did what was right. I would do the same thing and we should hope anyone else should too. That doesn't change the fact he's in this country illegally.

By being here he is already breaking the law. There's rules and regualtion for getting into this country and you want to allow them to do it illegally? Even the path to legal immigration is letting in far too many people.

Yes, we need to differentiate between useful illegal mexicans and the useless ones.
What this man has done is incredibly brave.
