At least 28 arrests were made at a Mesa bread factory after the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at the bakery around 11 a.m. Thursday.
Officials said 31 people are suspected of being in the country illegally and that they had used false identification documents, mainly Social Security cards, to gain employment at the Alpine Valley Bread Company, near Country Club Drive and Southern Avenue.

Joe understands that numbers = votes. People like to hear about 20 or 30 illegals getting busted, that's headline news. What many don't realize is that if you catch one Coyote, you have potentially disrupted hundreds of people from crossing the border.
UDA's already here, that's secondary, the Coyote, that's primary.
The Coyote doesn't care if his human traffic gets caught, why? because he's got another paying group ready to cross the border right now.
You remove the Coyote from the equation and you will cut the UDA ( Undocumented Alien ) traffic in half. the thing is, one coyote getting caught doesn't make headlines, but 28 UDA's in a bakery does. Just ask Joe, he'll tell you the same.
I would say to all the folks that want to comment on who Sherrif Joe is and what he is actually trying to accomplish come and hang out on our tv channels websites for a few weeks. Follow our daily headlines and you will clearly see that TBCasino is right. I was an ardent Joe supporter and voted for him twice. Now, I'm re-thinking this after the latest Sherrifs dept debacle..you cannot say Joe didn't know. This was just the beginning. You were the one claiming that Arpaio is only doing what he does for publicity with no proof of that whatsoever. As I said, you cannot deny the fact that he has caught a lot of illegal aliens which I am sure is your main objection to him. What real world experience do I need to acknowledge that well known fact?
I can tell where this debate is going and I have no use for those who support illegal aliens. Also, I have heard all the pro-illegal propaganda, defenses and arguments over and over which all have been debunked not to mention that they have no viable arguments against the rule of law and our already fair immigration policies. Usually what happens next is out pops the race card and insults. I don't wish to travel down that road anymore. Also, there is no reaching the ethnocentrics, those who employ illegals and the self-hating libs in here on some kind of misplaced compassion trip. It is pointless. So, so long, bye and adios.
