Therein lies the problem. As long as their hands are tied behind their backs, it wouldn’t matter if we had 1 million agents at the border. The Border Patrol should have the same directives as our military guarding the borders of foreign lands. It was a joke to see Napolitano giving pointers on border security in Afghanistan, while our own borders are so porous even a child can enter with relative ease.
