You would think that the demise of Osama bin Laden would wake people up to the danger of our open borders but it's doubtful.

One hope may be in the Holder situation with the guns being sold to the cartels. I heard he was supposed to testify before Congress today but I would imagine nothing will come of it. It sounds like they didn't take Devers very seriously considering they didn't ask many questions and gave the final words to someone saying things are so much better at the border now.

I can't figure out if our govt is that stupid or just that corrupt.

It's all very sad and frustrating.

I have no doubt that it is corruption rather than stupidity.

Ok and now are next war, Why does Obama not going after our Border issues, the way he should, this is becoming a war, that we are losing. Except for this current succesful operation, to much still needs much fixing at the hand of Obama. Our open border problems is a huge issue that needs addressing from those we put in power to do what is right for us.

The border problems are not fixed, maybe this administration wants us to believe this, i know some border patrol agents, and what they tell me and others, is anything but what we are being told.

No politicians, republican nor democrat, want the border problem fixed. An open border weakens the lower and middle classes, which is in turn good for the upper class.

Ive often wondered if the drug cartels and pro illegal immigrants groups go around bribing US Senators, US Representatives, federal agents, state/county/municipal cops, mayors, judges, city council members, etc. I have no doubt that it does happen to some degree but I just wonder how commonplace it really is. I doubt we will ever get an answer

Wasent their a city in California were the practically entire city government was found to be taking bribes from a Mexican drug cartel?

Well, those of us who are opposed to illegal immigration didn't. Those of us who put our own citizen's needs first certainly didn't.
