in actuality, enforcing the law would be to continue to allow illegal aliens to apply and test for DLs as voted for by the people of New Mexico...
No, enforcing the law would involve apprehending and deporting illegal aliens, not accommodating them, and treating them as though they have a legal presence. A driver’s license is not a right, it’s a privilege. And, illegal aliens should not have the privilege of driving a car in this country. In fact, they should be denied all privileges reserved for citizens and legal residents.
Poor illegals. . . they were so depending on New Mexico to roll out the red carpet. And, since the new governor is “Hispanic” they can’t even cry racism.
I can’t wait until the DREAMies get a wind of this. Those who spent thousands to establish a fraudulent residence aren’t going to be happy campers.
Only they didn't spend thousands unless it was to the cartel smuggling group that brought them in. The easy NM drivers licenses issued under Richardson cost them next to nothing. They paid far more for fraudulent laser visas and stolen identification papers.

States aren't supposed to override federal immigration laws, even if the federal government is not doing it's job - remember???
When your side condemned a state for adopting immigration laws that are the same as national laws, it's not exactly consistent to insist that states can make laws that aid and abet lawbreakers.
