Does it matter? Would it have been a different outcome?
The point is that billions of dollars are spent securing S,Korea from N.Korea. Yet we struggle to secure our own border and it seems that everyday is a new story of yet another victim.
How many victims do we need before our elected reps finally decide that this is an issue worthy of real action? How many deaths, murders, rapes, thefts need to happen before our elected reps feel that maybe they should put as much energy into a solution as they do into their re-election campaigns?

It will only become an issue when they themselves become the victims. It's easy enough to turn a blind eye when the situation is not on your own front steps.

US citizens should start suing the Federal Government and their State and Local Governments that have enacted sanctuary policies for failure to protect victims from the consequences of illegal migrants within our borders. If enough lawsuits are brought to bear, the Government will have no other option but to pay out large settlements or start enforcing the laws now on the books.
