The fix is in and the people who have been fighting against the latest Amnesty Bill (Comprehensive Immigration Bill) in the Senate have lost, according to Capital Hill insiders. Trent Lott who counts the members in advance of the actual votes, has told insiders he has the 60 votes necessary to pass the bill. All amendments that the bills supporters do not like will be voted down. The business and Hispanic lobby has won.

There were just to many powerful groups with lots of money and political clout that have bankrolled the elections of the US Senate for years, supporting this bill. The Grass Roots groups against the bill did not stand a chance.

For the record, I am against the Immigration (amnesty) Bill.

The battle now moves into the House of Representatives.

I dont see this anywhere except coming out of a corrupt politicians mouth BEFORE the vote takes place. They are doing this to try to make people think the fight is over. Its like telling the rest of the runners in a race that its over so stop running, then he continues and wins because they stopped.

Dont post this type of propaganda unless it is offical, unless you are trying to do the same thing.....

Dingler is drinking more of that special Reid/Kennedy/McCain Kool-Aid. Don't lose hope yet, if this craptastic bill passes through the Senate it is almost certainly D.O.A. in the House. Nancy Pelosi in fact is considering not even allowing it to move to the floor because it lacks any real support. A good indicator of how soon this thing will burst into flames was the Tom Tancredo vote on revoking Homeland Security money to sanctuary cities. That bill, which had faced harsh opposition in the House just a year ago, was passed by a large majority...including 50 democrats. That shows that the mentality in the House towards illegal immigration has changed dramatically, unlike the Senate who would sell the U.S. to Mexico if given 30 minutes alone.
