I love my car but as of yesterday the automatic door lock on the drivers door has stop working. The FOB still unlocks and locks all doors and starts the car . When I get in there is none of the sound going off and when I drive the driver door ajar (it's not) idiot light is on. It runs well this just started. Any help would be great, thanks.

There is a "switch" somewhere on the door pilars. It gets pushed in when you close the door and lets the car know the door is closed. it is like a push pin. I think yours is stuck or has some issues with the wiring etc.

Perhaps this helps:

Perhaps, as they suggest it's just a fuse that needs replacement.

Thank you all. Took it to the dealer and they said it's a faulty door latch switch under recall. Will drop it off Tuesday night and pick up Wed around noon.
