Went to the dealership to check it out in person. Not as massive as it appears in photos but is huge for a Hyundai. Bit of a step up to get inside. Wife and I are short. She prefers her Kona which is a step in/out. Her health means stepping up and down would lead to problems for her. Average person would not have this problem. Available USB charging ports built into the seat backs are good features for today’s technology addicted families especially on long road trips. The automatically fully opening lift gate combined with push button folding rear seats is great feature that makes me think Genesis instead of Hyundai. This is interesting considering Hyundai has an SUV testing for Genesis. What would they put into the Genesis SUV that isn’t in this Hyundai SUV? Sales people say fully loaded the Palisade will top off around $40,000. Current rate of consumer demand (at least at our local dealership) means don’t expect any rebates or mark down prices anytime soon. This is a big win vehicle for the local Hyundai dealership. I hope the sales numbers of this vehicle will help push Hyundai to put the Santa Cruz pickup truck into production.
Fully loaded Palisade shows Hyundai is taking demand into consideration.... saw two Limited listed for 48.5 and 52.8K in NC.
Just makes me want to run right out and buy a Hyundai Palisades....... if I could afford it.
