I’m really hoping this becomes a reality. I’m currently in a 15 year old Subaru Baja with nothing currently available to replace it.

Rumors abound from other brands, but this seems to be the most likely contender for actual production. I’m no millennial, but it seems Utes may have a market with that generation according to analysis, so maybe for once they’ll come through for me!

I’m sure the look will change, and hopefully they offer AWD and 4 doors with 5 seats.

Come on Hyundai!!

I can't wait to see what the production vehicle ends up looking like. If my Baja lasts, this one will very likely become it's replacement. Hopefully it has 4 doors and three seatbelts in the back.

Well after months of very positive news, the latest is that the "green light" is not going to be given anytime soon. They won't say it is dead, but...

Lots of news about this today. Apparently the design department confirmed that it's finished and ready for final approval and production.
