My wife rented a Soul once. While she wasn't a fan of the exterior design, she actually loved the interior and the way it drove. People do like driving them. I actually really like the styling of their current large SUV, the Kia Sorento. I'm not clear if the Telluride would be an addition or replacement, but I assume 'addition'.

I'm not a fan of any of the boxy designs either. Flex wasn't bad actually, but the Kia Soul, Honda Element, etc did nothing for me. The Volvo's are not as boxy, and I actually like them.

Kia/Hyundai attempts to break into the luxury segment hasn't gone too well. Cadenza and Genesis come to mind although I have always liked the Genesis.

That’s pretty weird because I have a Optima with 130,000 miles that I daily drive about 120 miles 5 days a week. It’s a 4 cyl and I had no issues at all with the engine or transmission.
