Once again I am back to say good things about my new Hyundai. I traded my 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT for a 2017 Hyundai Sonata Sport. First time since 2008 I have bought a car for its looks instead of function. I am so pleased with this car! Beautiful color, they call it "Dark Truffle", I call it metallic medium brown. Chrome trim under the doors, pinstriping, albeit the Hyundai logo. A tad wider than the Elantra, oodles of more "playthings". Sticker price $27K bought for $21K. My Elantra was in pretty rough shape too. It has 3 ways to drive it...Eco, Sports or regular. I tried the Eco but didn't like how the a/c powers down. Not interested in the Sport (yet), so I keep it in regular drive. I now have the dark tinted windows I was jealous of. They are illegal in Massachusetts, where I bought all my other Hyundais. Finally a car I am happy with and not thinking about the next one already!
I have a 2015 Hyundai Elantra SE. January next year, regardless of tire condition, I'm buying new tires that ARENT low rolling resistance. While I enjoy my fuel economy, ride comfort, quiet ride, and better handling are more important to me than saving a few MPG. check your tires to see how they compare on Tire Rack ratings. You may enjoy your car more once you replace the tires.
I got rid of my 2012 Sonata. The engines in those cars are failing so much that Hyundai can't make replacements fast enough, current wait time for a new engine is 4 months. They extended the warranty on my engine to 120k miles, but I just didn't feel like I could trust it.
Hopefully the new ones are improved. My advice, use 5w-30 oil (not the 5w-20 listed on the oil cap), and don't go over 5k miles on an oil change.
I test drove a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Limited and it was a great car. Ended up with a 2014 Azera with 15k miles for a cheaper price. Congrats and enjoy! if I could have found a 2.0T Sonata might have went with that but those are pretty rare

It's a good sign that in lots of looking I can't really find any major issues with the Sonata. I'm looking at trading down to a Sonata, just to save some cash and fuel economy, and with the new '18s coming out, it's tough to argue a SE at under $15K.
