If you look they both have DVD drives. But the aluminum surround for the disc slot on the Lexus is artwork compared to the cheap plastic 90s version on the Hyundai. This theme continues throughout the entire car and is in large part responsible for Hyundai's much more severe depreciation.
The Hyundai interior simply looks cleaner and classier compared to the Lexus. It's more German than Japanese. If Lexus was concerned with artwork they wouldn't have adorned their models with confused and cheap styling.

It's a a bit old-guard with that big slab of wood on the dash trim. Lexus is more modern, imo. I'm an old fuddy, I suppose. I like the slab of wood. I do still prefer the Lexus center stack aesthetically. I could actually see them being annoying in use. Again, I'm an old fuddy. I like me a good knob or a button I can blindly feel, given with these cars everything is on the steering wheel or automatic these days. I don't do much on my car for the climate control aside from lower/raise the temperature a few degrees a couple times a week. It just sits on auto and does its thing for the most part.
I’m a bit surprised this thread is still going, so I’ll update.
I made a decision, and one I really didn't expect. Major factors in the decision were ones mentioned many times by those who posted on this thread (thanks for the input):
1. I didn't want to take the depreciation hit on a new car again, been there, done that.
2. I didn't want the first model year of a car, been there, done that.
3. I wanted the right combination of luxury and performance, with luxury being more important for me.
What actually happened was the heart won out over the head. It’s German, generally unreliable, and AWD, but:
1. It’s a beautiful thing!
2. I’ve always wanted one in exactly this combination.
3. I can’t really describe the way it drives but it’s fantastic! The AWD perhaps?
4. There are good manufacturer incentives at the moment, rebates and 2yrs free maintenance.
5. It’s got 4 ½ years of manufacturer warranty left, I ponied up for two extra.
6. Its 2013, I paid 58% of the value of the exact same 2015 version.
7. Did I mention it’s a beautiful thing?
If it becomes a horrible mistake I've learned my lesson and in 4 1/2 yrs the Genesis will be tried and tested with many CPO opportunities for that 5.0.
