Tuesday 23July2019 5aEDT/2aPDT: Invest 97E organized enough to become Tropical Depression 5E (TD5E), and now Tropical Storm Dalila, the 4th named storm of the 2019 East Pacific Hurricane season. On average, the 4th named storm genesis date is July 14th.

Estimated winds 40mph(65km/h), moving NNW 7mph(11km/h), pressure 1005mb. Located about 585miles(945km) SW of S tip of Baja. Heading away from land. NHC says it only has a small window to strengthen, if at all anymore, then conditions become unfavorable with high wind shear, dry air, and cooler water temps and may weaken to a remnant Low pressure system later this week.

Tue 23July2019 5pEDT/2pPDT: Estimated winds 40mph(65km/h), moving NW 8mph(13km/h), pressure 1006mb. Located about 595miles(960km) WSW of S tip of Baja. Likely has peaked in intensity, and may become remnant low around Thursday.

Wed 24July2019 11aEDT/8aPDT: Estimated winds 35mph(55km/h), moving NW 7mph(11km/h), pressure 1007mb. Located about 605miles(975km) WSW of S tip of Baja. Wind speed means it’s weakened to Tropical Depression status (winds of 38mph or less).

Thurs 25July2019 8aEDT/5aPDT: Estimated winds 30mph(45km/h), moving NW 6mph(9km/h), pressure 1009mb. Located about 675miles(1090km) W of S tip of Baja. Being sheared apart and entering cooler waters. Likely last day for it.

Thurs 25July2019 11aEDT/8aPDT: Estimated winds 25mph(35km/h), moving WNW 7mph(11km/h), pressure 1009mb. Storm is gone now, just a remnant Low pressure. No more advisories will be issued by the NHC.
