The treehouse thing at the Botanical Gardens looks like fun.
But my husband has planned a golf game. I'm not included. My kids will expect Sunday lunch, but won't offer to cook. MD is not a fun day for me.

I don't even want to think about what would happen to me if I planned a golf game on Mother's Day. Ouch.

I just saw this online...interesting, isn't it? Who would think this up for a "best of list" anyway?

We are going to Tunica Friday night, we will have to be back in time for baseball on Saturday, and I work on Sunday

Southlander: Tell your hubby and kids to get on the ball!!! No fair for you!!! You need to put your foot down-or start planning your own(that is how I work it-I even bought my own gift and hubby mused about how well he picked-as always!!)

What else is a guy supposed to do while the wife/mom is spring cleaning? I don't want to hear vacuum cleaners all day.

How about...

"Oh Honey, let me do the vaccuming for you. Please sit down on the couch, here's some tea and magazine for you to relax. After vacuuming, I'll take the children to the park so you can soak in the bubble bath, I already chill a bottle of red wine for you. Tongiht, I will take the family out for a sit down dinner.

You've work so hard all year rasing our 4 children, plus putting up with an anal-retentive obsessive-compulsive engineer husband. Let me show you my appreciation by doing this at least one day a year, and... oh, tonight we'll lock our bedroom door so kids can't come in.... <wink> <wink>".
