We love the Broken Egg. Try Ivey's in Madison as well. It was really good for a local restaurant, I felt. I tried the Blue Plate Cafe today and it was good also. Google it and you'll find lots of great reviews!
(Can you tell I LOVE breakfast?)

The thing I love about Blue Plate is the service. The people that work there are generally very nice and provide good, prompt service.

second the Broken Egg. I love their yogurt/fruit parfait. Yes, a little pricey for breakfast but worth it.

Tried Another Broken Egg this weekend, VERY dissappointed. Read my review here. (Phillip H.)

I think I'll stick to Hopper's Sunday brunch, much better food, much better service.

You should check out Mainstreet Cafe and Bakery in South Huntsville near the Donatos Pizza. It has great breakfast choices reminiscent of a small cafe in a larger city. Fantastic and fresh ingredients really make this place special. Nothing is processed or frozen! Check the website out:

Thanks for sharing this. I've always had a great experience each time I've eaten there...seems like maybe I've been lucky. I did read all of the reviews and there were a few that weren't great.
I've never tried Hopper's. I'll have to give it a try

Dallas Mills Deli on Pratt Ave. is good. We also like Blue Plate.
