Can anyone recommend a cheap tow truck company?
The going hook rate in the area and per mile rate?

I am looking to have my car towed it might be 4-5 miles if somewhere in Athens or roughly 25 miles if I take it to Huntsville.

Thanks

Depending on where you are taking it - i.e., body work or mechanical work, the garage may have a tow tuck. Check with them first. They will tow you for free usually if you are having the work done there.

Otherwise, I've had good service from Mayhall towing. They have been around forever.

The smartest money I have ever spent on anything automotive is a AAA membership.

If you have a vehicle that can pull have you thought about a U-haul dolly or car trailer?
