Sounds like a weird question, I know. But I've been living here for two months now and haven't gotten a water bill. Sort of hoping the 1.5% portion of my property taxes (about $3800) that goes to the MUD will cover it.

Yes, we get a monthly bill. It includes water, sewer, and the North Harris County Regional Water Authority tax, which is about the same amount as the water and sewer, or more.

Yes...hate to burst your bubble, but you should be getting a water bill as well.

Did you get the water turned on in your name? If you didn't, it might get cut off very soon. If you don't know your MUD #, PM me with your subdivision and I will give you the number. If you did put it in your name and haven't received a bill, call them.

It may still be in previous owner/builder's name if you haven't called to switch it over. When I bought my house I thought the builder would switch it over but after 3 months of no bills I called them and they said the builder had been paying it.

Thanks guys, I did call Severn Trent before my closing to get the service switched over to my name. I'll call them today to see what's up. Waste Management also hasn't brought my recycle bin after I've called them twice already for it, so I'll be making a third call to them today.
